Ariadne has been travelling around Africa for more than 20 years and has visited more than 30 African countries (most of them over and over again). She and her husband are a photographer/guidebook-writer team and make regular trips to the highways and byways of this varied continent – always lingering as long as possible in the most pristine parks and reserves. Ariadne plays a leading role in creating and updating the park and country content on SafariBookings and she also owns The Africa Image Library, a comprehensive photo library. Her work is her hobby but when at home she enjoys outdoor pursuits, including trail running and mountain biking in South Africa where she is based.
